WATER……how important is it really? Inflammation, Muscle Weakness, Kidney.....Read on……

As many of you know I spend much time researching and analyzing healthy tips and tricks. Very often what’s out there is not always correct. A prime example is some misinformation stated in this video listed below. Now, much of what is being stated is correct and good advice, however, there are a few things we can correct. Of course, nothing is full proof, so, once again, listen to your gut and follow your intuition.

  • 1.The statement they make regarding leaving an open glass of water on your nightstand makes absolute sense (how many of you have actually had the thought of “what could have been drinking from my water in the night? Yikes) Given all the reasons for not doing that, and you still do it, try placing a coaster or a napkin over your glass to prevent those pesky critters from sharing. Always, drink clean water (not tap, unless you have a well). Spring water is also an option)
  • 2.How much water we drink daily depends on the individual. Our weight, our workout routine etc. So, the recommended amount for YOU, will be half your body weight in ounces. More if you are active.
  • 3. Benefits of drinking hot water vs room temperature or warm water first thing in the morning. They report that drinking Cold water speeds metabolism. My thought is, be gentle to your body in the morning, Relax your organs and move your bowels, THEN, go ahead and have your cold water if necessary.
  • 4.Drinking water immediately before your meal, or during your meal is not healthy as it washes away the necessary enzymes needed to digest your food. Your body knows you’re eating and produces saliva which stimulates these beneficial enzymes to break-down food. This is often why some people suffer from indigestion or heart burn after eating (ever notice why Europeans often do not drink water at dinner, only wine perhaps?) Now, there are people that through the years have abused their digestive system and have suffered many years with heartburn, acid reflux etc., if this is the case, we suggest you supplement with HCL (hydrochloric acid) and HCL Activator. Taking these at mealtime will drastically improve your symptoms. I have linked below for your convenience.

It has been noted that if you are dehydrated you can be prone to muscles pain due to inflammation. However, very often muscle pain, leg cramps, twitchy eye and being edgy can also indicate a Magnesium Deficiency. See below the info on the benefits of Magnesium (it’s said 85% of Americans are deficient).
